I found it interesting to note that the man who actually discovered the bodies, does NOT believe that it is the body of the same Jesus as the one called Christ

I also agree that ALL of the religous artifacts and relics that claim to be part of or had belonged to Jesus, his family, or the apostles... but as far as I know, there have never been any tests done on any of those items, and that fact has always disapointed me

I call this neither a lie nor the truth, simply because there are no facts that can either prove nor disprove it yet... fact is a body was found, but beyound that who knows...

I agree that there is prob'ly a lot more hype over this than there should be, because Jesus, Mary, and Joseph were all very common names in that time and place, and finding graves in that area with those names is very common, though it rarely makes it into the news like this

"And if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile...", So if there is no resurrection then No Christianity! Jesus is not important because what he taught (you and I know from our heart that we need to love our neighbors as we love our own) but what He did on the cross. Christianity is not the "do's and don'ts" it a "FINISHED" (Jesus cried from the cross) religion. The resurrection of Jesus Christ is a historical truth and if you look at all the apologetics against the resurrection that always starts with explaining the empty tomb. Even the early Jewish writings agreed that the tomb is empty (they claim that the disciples stole the body)

I hope the below article would help
