EelKat the wildlife that living in the 26 acres of 200 year old pines have found themselves suddenly homeless this week – they are not happy
- EelKat and YES – this IS downtown Old Orchard Beach I am talking about here – the same forest that houses 3 Ivory Bill Woodpeckers is NOW GONE!
- EelKat and is leaving behind HUGE cat tracks that dwarf the bear tracks – it is very likely an angry displaced cougar – DO NOT GO OUTSIDE AT NIGHT!
- EelKat also – an unidentified NEW PREDATOR has come forward – it shrieks at night like a woman being murdered, is heard high in the trees – and
- EelKat a territorial male that is slashing up trees – is a VERY ANGRY AND HIGHLY DANGEROUS bear – please use caution when walking on the Ross Rd!
- EelKat the addition of “bear trees” means that there is a territorial male in the area and he’s on the warpath looking for a new place to live
- EelKat they attacked a girl in 2007 under peaceful times – they are likely very dangerous now – due to the removal of their homes!
- EelKat BEWARE- IF YOU LIVE IN OLD ORCHARD BEACH – MAINE – these bear are dangerous and are now homeless! do not go out at night!
- EelKat apparently the mass clear cutting has displaced these 8 (or more?) giant predators and forced them into our yard
- EelKat 5 bear live in the woods – that fact has been known for 20 years; at least 2 wolverine are there as well – the cougar is a new discovery
- EelKat the sound of land movers has gotten closer each day – today we can now see them from the barn due to a sudden lack of trees
- EelKat the leg of a moose was found in the garden – shredded by an unknown animal – likely the wolverine
- EelKat there are now cat tracks measuring 6 inches across in the mud outside the barn – only cat that big is cougar
- EelKat something big – bigger than the wolverine – has been ripping boards off the barn wall and eating hens – there are now
- EelKat a bear family have been tearing walls off the barn, uprooting fruit bushes, and ransacking the grain bins all this past week
- EelKat for those who have not seen my tweets earlier this week – I’ll recap
- EelKat needless to say, I’m not happy about any of this – nor are the giant now homeless predators (bear and cougar) outside my barn
- EelKat the sudden lack of trees has pout the sun full blast in my shade garden
- EelKat tree cutters are dumping sand in Etiole’s Swamp and raising hell with our brook/water supply
- EelKat deer tracks everywhere – good thing the frost already killed the garden
- EelKat and raccoon have moved into the tent
- EelKat also why are there cougar tracks in the mud? YIKES!
- EelKat knows now why the sudden uprising of bear activity, some 20 acres of the Ross Forest was just clear cut sending the bear into our yard
